Process improvement in Power BI community

Hi All,

 

I have some experience with other reporting tools community,so I am adding few of points which are missing in this community.

 

1) Knowledge base

   It would be good if we have some kind of knowledge base tickets for frequently used functionalities/occurred issues.

  MicroStrategy contains a lot of knowledge base tickets which will provide information about new features. workarounds for a       lot of existing issues. Currently, users don't have any place to look if they have face any issue except posting a comment in the community

The knowledge base will save the time of community users. This has to be a combined effort from users and Power BI Team. As this tool has less experience in the market it would be good if we get these kinds of info from Power BI Team.

 

2) Power BI Admin team monitoring users issues/community posts

    It would be good if Admin team monitors users issues(community posts) and provide these inputs and workarounds for the issues .This will help users in resolving their issues quickly

 

3) Encouraging community users

 Few people are actively working on this community and they are the major reason in resolving various user issues. I feel Admin should encourage their effort in the form of certifications/free training in advanced concepts. This will help for community growth/Power BI growth
