We have recently released the Azure service Sesam: www.sesamcloud.com. Sesam is a plug&play SAP BI solution (BIaas) for SME. Presently we are live with our pilot clients and are in the negotiation process with other customers.
One pilot client is strongly interested in creating MS Power BI dashboard application based on Sesam. We learned that Microsoft has recently published a new version for a SAP BW Connector to connect MS Power BI with SAP BW.
We’re offering help to thoroughly test this connector during our PoC. We’ve implemented a similar connector in .NET and hence know many pitfalls such as: BICS interface, aggregation of cube data, support of analysis authorization, auto-import of SAP GUI connections, working with function modules, etc. This connector is used in our software product for documentation and visualization called BI Director.
We’re happy to share our knowledge and resources to get the SAP BW Connector to work, because we believe that Power BI needs a good integration with SAP BW and vice versa.
