I am trying to show the increasing costs of our properties but we have multiple escalations based lease dates then, outside of these properties i have some with set % increases year over year and some with % based on the country's inflation index. How do I do this? Even though the leases go back years I was going to start fresh with our fiscal year of 1July2024. Table creation in lakehouse with schema
Hello,
I had a schema-enforced lakehouse and tried to create a table with Pyspark. Code as below:
df.write.mode("overwrite").option("overwriteSchema", "true").format("delta").saveAsTable("schema.table")
But returned the error like this: An error occurred while calling o4724.saveAsTable. : java.lang.RuntimeException: Request failed: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
I am able to use the same code to create a table in a non schema lakehouse.
My account have write permission to both lakehouses.
Does anyone has insight of it?

Dynamically Change the Database name in the Powerbi desktop
Hi All,
I am trying to change the database name dynamically in the powerbi from the powerbi rest api call. I created parameters for server and database name and use that in the query . I am trying to update the database name dynamically from the rest api. But , I am getting the same data for the database which I given as the default in the parameter name. This is the code where I am updating the datasource name from powerbi rest api. I need to change the database name whatever I am giving as the input. Please help me to resolve this

As far as I know this error message occurs due to architectural mismatch occurs .
You can try using the following syntax:
If the above syntax doesn't take effect, you may want to consider leaving this message unchecked, as checking it may cause the system to apply more stringent checks to the data being written

Requirements
- Rent Varies every no. of years ... R1 to R30, R1 is 1st renewal and corresponding increment is RE1 to RE30
- Apart from Rent Licensee shares RevenueShareMonthly and Escalation in Revenue every year as RS I YoY%
- Revenue from Car Parks allotted CarParks @ RatepCarPark
- CAM Margin (Common Area Maintenance Charges) per sqft per month and Revenue from the same is Margin
- IFSDM Amount deposited by the tenant to landlord at the time of start of lease and which landlord will return the same amount at the time of expirty of lease

I am working on a visual that will show a list of our plants with their monthly production capacity. The visual will be used for planning downtimes. If I select a plant (that is, a plant has a scheduled downtime), the visual should show the selected plant's capacity as a negative value, while the rest of the unselected plants will still be shown as positive values. can you help me how I can achieve this?

How to handle the power BI refresh time limit while having multiple refreshing report request.
Hello everyone,
I want to know is there any way to trigger multiple refresh request using power bi client library in a given time.
As per need, we want to trigger multiple report refresh request, but that refresh request are failed due to the Power BI client has limitation.
The error message which show in browser console - "Power bi client library failed to refresh the report because power bi report refresh has limit that 1 request(s) every 15 seconds."
So how can we handle this.

You can only change credentials, you cannot change the connection details.
Create a new connection or run a custom SQL that overrides the database name.

Color Palette not working as expected.
Hi,
In several custom visuals we created, we are using the color palette provided by the IVisualHost to assign colors to categorical item. We run into a problem that in case a filter is applied, the initial colors that were assigned to a particular categorical item will shift in case the filter get's removed. This of course is unwanted behavior since the colors that were initially 'reserved' by the palette for a particular item get re-assigned. So for example: I have a "region" category mapped in my report having the values: "east", "west", "north", "south". I apply a filter by filtering out "north" and I save my report. When reopening the report, "east", "west" and "south" will get the first 3 colors of the palette (which is the expected behavior). When clearing the filter I would like to ensure that "east", "west" and "south" would still have the colors they got initially assigned, but since I retrieve new Data, the color palette seems to be 'reset' and the previous assigned colors will be handed out as being available palette colors.
Even in other situations I would like a particular color to be assigned to a particular item (and I don't want this to change). Is there any way to achieve this without having to hold an internal administrattion ourselves?

I have no experience in coding or M query and I spent many hours googling and couldn't find a solution.
I am trying to build a tracker for our incoming sea shipments to make life easier.
What I want to do is to be able to dynamically change the tracking# based on a table contiaining the tracking# that will continuously be updated instead of manually doing it one by one.
Is this feasible?

Power BI REST API query against dataset error
I am trying to use the Power BI REST API through PowerApps to query a Power BI dataset. It works fine for me and for another person who had contributor access to the workspace that the Power BI data set is in, but it's not working for other users. The dataset has RLS active, I'm assigned the role in RLS that lets me view everything. The other users have workspace access and build access to the dataset, and the query is set up with me as the impersonatedUserName. But they get an error that PowerBEntityNotFound, cannot query the dataset by using the REST API because the dataset was not found or you do not have the required permissions. This exact setup with user permissions--(Workspace Viewer, Build (app)) with impersonatedusername as someone assigned the RLS role--is working for a different app that is querying a different dataset in the same workspace. I don't know what else to try to get this to work. From what I read, this should be working. Any ideas?

My understanding is that the PowerApps user has to have a workspace role above Viewer. This also means that RLS will be ignored.

I'm trying to add bookmark and refresh the report each time a bookmark added.
This is not related to any performance issue.
We are basically rendering power bi report inside our angular application, and we are calling power bi client library to refresh the report and power bi client library throw error saying that "failed to refresh the report because power bi report refresh has limit that 1 request(s) every 15 seconds."
So, I want to know, is there any way to get rid of power bi refresh time limit ?
